Tree of Heaven Vase - In Stock and Ready to Ship

Beautifully soft and ornate, this Raku pottery vase was hand-thrown on the wheel and has an elegant black-and-white Tree of Heaven frond design. This striking Raku vase has the carbon transfer of real Tree of Heaven fronds decorating the sides of this unique piece of pottery. This is a reminder that the invasive Tree of Heaven is the preferred host plant for the troubling Spotted Lanternfly.

Standing approx. 14"x 8", this Raku vase was hand-thrown on the pottery wheel and then trimmed to be lightweight. This one-of-a-kind ceramic art piece was then buffed to be satin smooth.

This raku vase has a classic Grecian design combined with a modern aesthetic, achieved using an ancient Japanese way to fire.

Each Raku pottery piece is one of a kind, and handcrafted from a white stoneware on the potters wheel. No two Raku pieces are alike, possessing their own traits and characteristics. You will receive the unique vase in the photos. May sweat if this vase holds water for long periods, so protect what it sits on.

Everything here in our shop has been handmade by husband and wife potters Kristen and J.R. Page in Burnsville North Carolina.
