    This handmade pottery place setting in our Slate Blue with Rust Chain glaze pattern comes complete with dinner plate, salad/lunch plate and soup bowl. This three piece place setting are the essentials for your next dinner party or just an intimate night in. The rust chain reveals the warm color of the raw clay and was inspired by the double helix. 

Each dish of this dinnerware set has been hand thrown on the pottery wheel from a durable stoneware clay body in the mountains of North Carolina. Bowls are wheel thrown and then altered to be both decorative and functional. Stacks of plates and bowls are then trimmed to nest beautifully inside one another. There is something very satisfying about seeing well stacked dishes in a cupboard.

All of our stoneware pottery is fully functional for daily use, food safe, as well as dishwasher and microwave safe. Our homemade glazes never contain lead. Due to the handmade process expect slight variations in size and color
