Black and White Raku Fern and Flower Vase - In Stock and Ready to Ship

         Beautifully soft and ornate, this Raku pottery vase was hand thrown on the wheel and has a elegant black and white fern and flower design. This striking Raku vase has the carbon transfer of real ferns, flowers and other plants decorating the sides of this unique piece of pottery. Standing appox. 10"x 5" this Raku vase was hand thrown on the pottery wheel and then trimmed to be light weight. This one of a kind ceramic art piece was then buffed to be satin smooth.
Smoke fired Raku pottery is an amazing process where we use smoke from organic materials like the ferns that so beautifully decorates this piece.

This raku vase has a classic Grecian design combined with modern aesthetic, achieved using an ancient Japanese way to fire.


Each Raku pottery piece is one of a kind, and hand crafted from a white stoneware on the potters wheel. No two Raku pieces are alike, possessing their own traits and characteristics. You will receive the unique vase in the photos.
