Huge Woven Monster Mug in Lichen - Handmade to Order

     This huge hand thrown pottery mug is in our Woven design and glazed in our soft green Lichen glaze. Hand thrown on the pottery wheel from a durable stoneware clay in the mountains of North Carolina. A handle was then pulled and a thumb rest placed. This huge mug was then hand carved in our Woven pattern by Kristen and glazed in our Lichen glaze which has an amazing soft green color and shows the carvings well.. This huge mug was carefully crafted to fit your hand, stands 5-6" tall comfortably holds approx. 32 oz. The bottom is signed and dated, then polished smooth.

Each hand thrown mug is as unique as you are, which is the nature of all things handmade. As with all handmade pottery expect slight variation in color and size, as well as the carved pattern in this huge mug.

This oversized mug is perfect for so many things, our favorite is iced tea or a beer mug or stein.

All of our stoneware pottery is fully functional for daily use, food safe, as well as dishwasher and microwave safe.

Everything here in our shop has been handmade by husband and wife potters JR and Kristen Page in Burnsville North Carolina. Handmade to order, may take 3-6 weeks to complete.
