Measuring approx. 7" x 3"these four hand thrown bowls are light weight as well as nest inside of each other for easy storage. Our soup bowls have been hand thrown on the pottery wheel from a durable stoneware clay. They were each then hand carved in our Peaked pattern and glazed in our simple yet elegant Shale glaze. This glaze shows off the the carving beautifully, while letting your food be the star of the show. We left the rim and foot of these bowls unglazed, the toasty color of the raw clay gives great contrast in color and texture. The bottoms are all signed and dated as well as polished smooth.

Each soup bowl is designed to to be versatile and durable, as well as nest inside of each other for easy storage.

All of our stoneware pottery is fully functional for daily use, food safe, as well as dishwasher and microwave safe.

Everything here in our shop has been handmade by husband and wife potters JR and Kristen Page in Burnsville North Carolina.

Each of our soup bowls are as unique as you are, which is the nature of all things handmade. Please expect slight variations in both size and color.
