This hand thrown pottery coffee mug is in our simple and rustic Shale glaze with Rust Waves. This mug has an amazing feel to it as well as having a good design. Carefully crafted to fit your hand, this 4" coffee mug comfortably holds 16 oz.
Hand thrown on the pottery wheel from a durable stoneware clay, then a handle was then pulled and a thumb rest for added comfort. Glazed in our simple yet beautiful Shale glaze. Each mug is then hand painted with wax to reveal the warm color of the raw clay. This mug was designed to be your go to daily coffee mug.
As with all handmade pottery expect slight variation may occur in color and size.
All of our stoneware pottery is fully functional for daily use, food safe, as well as dishwasher and microwave safe.
Everything here in our shop has been handmade by husband and wife potters JR and Kristen Page in Burnsville North Carolina. Handmade to order, may take 3-6 weeks.
